BatchIntegration - CARA 1.9.1 for Mac

Hi,

I am trying to do some batch integration and I noticed that in MonoScope, the "Spectrum-Setup Batch List" option does not exit in the Mac version... Before I was using Windows and this option was there.
As a result I cannot integrate several spectra at the same time (although the option "Integrator-Integrate Batch List" exists but produces no results).

Is this a bug or a (missing) feature?

I also tried the previous version available for download and it is the same thing...

Thank you in advance.

Hi Aldino
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the hint concerning the "setup batch list" menu. CARA makes use of the Qt framework. On OS X Qt makes strange things sometimes. When a menu includes the term "setup" or "configure" or the like, Qt assumes it to be the configuration menu and moves it to the application menu - in this case the one called "CARA". Have a look there. I have no Mac with me right now; please have a look in the mentioned menu and tell us, whether it's there and whether it was renamed by Qt.
Regards
Rochus

Hi Rochus,

thank you for the prompt reply and solution!! :)
You are correct! To create the batch list I now have to go to "CARA - preferences" and it directly opens the "Spectrum Batch" window. Then it is straightforward.

Best regards,
Aldino

Great, thanks. Maybe we find a work-around so Qt stops to move and rename menus.

Hi Aldino
Please note that the new version 1.9.1.4 is available also on OS X. We found a solution of the problem you reported. Menus are no longer displaced. See on the downloads page.
Best regards
Rochus
